Thought-Provoking - So much more than a children’s book!
This book is classified here on Amazon as a children's book age 6-12 but I view it as a book for ALL ages. It is very thought-provoking and can be very helpful to people of all ages dealing with the loss of a loved one. For young children, it seems it would be best to have a parent read it with them to talk through the subject of grief. This small book is packed full of experiences to open your imagination - there is a lot of fun light-hearted exchanges in addition to the topic of grief - has a nice balance. It is so well written that I know I will be reading it multiple times to really take it all in. I recommend this to everyone and it would make a great gift for someone who has had a recent loss. There is so much more that I could say but I am just stuck on "thought-provoking". Get your copy now and you will see what I mean.

I enjoyed this delightful, thought-provoking story so much! I loved being reminded of the transforming power of relationships that can be formed through seemingly random circumstances or coincidences. Being faced with the reality of death (something I think most people try to ignore as best they can), and the inspiration to live authentically now! Life is hard, but friendship is a gift!
This book is an excellent read for ANY age. My children are ages 9, 12, and 14, and each took away a beautiful lesson from meeting Sadie and Charlie. I myself was comforted in reading this story because it relates so much to loss, life, and friendship! There is humor, innocence, pain and love all poetically laid out in this imaginative and heartfelt story. It may not take long to read, but Sadie and Charlie will remain your friends long after you put the book down.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Quick to read but very deep! I would recommend it to anyone of any age, it really gets you thinking about life and loss and being open to whatever comes your way. Definitely heightens your imagination too.
